This out and back trail is a wonderful little gem hidden in a largely wooded area with a narrow creek cress-crossing the trail. The area is prime Golden-cheeked Warbler territory and this will be our target bird. Many other summer visitors are possible, too: buntings, tanagers and Eastern Bluebirds. Also, you will encounter some razzle-dazzle wildflowers! Be aware that the trail can be slippery and that part of the trail is an off-leash for dogs. There are about 30 parking spots; so, don’t be late. Contact Michael Pfeil: email@example.com
