Please join Dennis Palafox and Eric Stager at 7:00 am at Commons Ford Ranch Metropolitan Park in an exploration of the great diversity of birds in the various habitats at Commons Ford including restored prairie, riparian woods, and Hill Country woodlands. Travis Audubon has taken a leadership role in the long-term care and restoration of this incredible property. Of particular interest this trip will be to see the re-growth of prairie plants after this winter’s controlled burn and hear about the recent activities in the park. Then we will walk the trails in the prairie and along the river and creek, and go up the hill into the Golden-cheeked Warbler habitat.
What better way to celebrate the Victory of the Battle of San Jacinto than to spend it birding! If you have any questions contact Dennis, firstname.lastname@example.org
This trip supports Travis Audubon’s Birdathon fundraiser! There is a $50 minimum donation to participate. Trip is limited to 15.
