Paul and Georgean Kyle will take up to 30 lucky people on a private tour of Chaetura Canyon, home to a significant chimney swift population and so much more! During their 40+ years on this gorgeous 12-acre property, a slot canyon just down river from Mansfield Dam, they have documented more than 2 dozen nesting species of birds, and more than 160 species that have been seen there at one time or another. Golden-cheeked warblers in recent years have been singing near the Kyles’ residence in spring and can be seen and heard from their decks. In April the native wildflowers should also be blooming. As an added bonus, participants will be treated to a delicious continental breakfast before the tour, and brunch after our birding, cooked by Georgean so you know it will be wonderful.
Last year this event sold out, so don’t delay. Donation per participant: $75. Please contact Jo Wilson with questions: firstname.lastname@example.org
