Introduction to Nature Photography

This introduction to nature photography will help you understand what’s going in your camera and how to take better photographs.  Although the emphasis is on nature photography, the knowledge gained will help you in any photographic setting.

The class will explain the basics of exposure – aperture, shutter speed and ISO and how they interact with each other to create the photo you want. Hints on taking better wildlife photographs and photographs in general will be discussed. We will discuss some information on cell phone photography.

We will have time to practice indoors and outdoors so bring whatever camera you have.  Bring your camera manual if you can.  I recommend bringing a hat or something to shade your eyes when we are outside.

Bring a lunch and water. Class size is limited to 15. Class will be held at a southeast Austin location. Contact Cindy Cannon prsart@yahoo.com with questions.
