Tuesday, February 26 – 7:30am to 9:30am

We will bird this relatively new 273 acre multi-use park located at 18667 Blake-Manor Road in eastern Travis County, just southeast of Manor. It offers several habitats including some ponds, so the birding should be interesting. No registration required.

If coming from the North: From I-35 go east on US 290. Turn right at the light just past Riata Ford and follow Loop 212 to the stop sign in downtown Manor. Continue South which is now FM 973 and cross the railroad tracks. Turn left in two blocks onto Blake-Manor Road. Stay on Blake-Manor Road for approximately 3.5 miles to the Park Entrance on the right. After turning into the entrance, go past the swimming pool and continue down the hill. Park near the restrooms.

If coming from the South: At the intersection of Toll Road 130 and FM 969, take FM 969 East for 4.7 miles to Burleson Manor Road. Turn left on Burleson Manor Road for 2.4 miles to Blake Manor Road. Turn left on Blake Manor Road for 0.5 mile and then turn left into the park entrance. After turning into the entrance, go past the swimming pool and continue down the hill. Park near the restrooms.
