Two-hour Tuesday! At Platt Lane, led by Ken Zaslow
Tuesday, January 22 – 7:30am to 9:30am
Join us for birding at the Platt Lane section of the Hornsby Bend property. The habitat is varied and features fields, woodlands, a pond, and Colorado River frontage. Expect to walk approximately 2.5 miles, so bring snacks and water. We will meet-up at the Center for Environmental Research (CER) at the main entrance to the Hornsby Bend Property and will then do a short carpool to the Platt Lane site.
Directions: Take Hwy 71 east, turn left at first light past airport (FM 973), continue north about one mile and take paved left into Hornsby Bend. Turn right after first gate into parking lot at Ecological Research Center. No registration required.
