Beginners’ Bird Walk: Berry Springs Park

7:30 AM – 9:30 AM

Berry Springs Park is located north of Georgetown. It has a flat trail that is paved in parts and is crushed granite in parts. It has a pond, a pecan grove, a large meadow, and wooded areas along Berry Creek. The various areas make Berry Springs a perfect habit for a variety of birds. We will hopefully see some of our year-round resident species as well as some that come to central Texas for the summer. We’ll look for woodpeckers, bluebirds, raptors, herons, and egrets, among others.

Restrooms are available, and there is a site review at Birdability.org for anyone wanting info about accessibility features.
