Beginners’ Bird Walk: Roy G. Guerrero Colorado River Metropolitan Park

8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Come join us at Roy G. Guerrero Metropolitan Park on the Colorado River close to downtown Austin. We’ll be looking for fall migrants as well as year-round residents on the river and in the woods. With the river you never know what is going to show up in this park. Loaner binoculars will be available.

The park is mostly flat and the trail surfaces are crushed granite, concrete, packed dirt or wood chips depending on the area visited. We will likely be walking through grass in places as well as on the trails. We will be meeting at the location pinned here.

Leaders: George Kerr, Cynthia Roush and other TAS leaders
