Bird Walk at NW/Sheffield Park

7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

Fall is here and that means more-or-less monthly bird walks in NW/ Sheffield Park are on! We’ll focus mainly on the Park and Shoal Creek nearby, looking for residents and migrants and enjoying the morning. If you’re interested in birds and nature, as well as getting to know your neighbors, you’ll have a great time. Please dress for our changing weather, consider sun protection and comfortable footwear, and bring water. The terrain is mostly flat and we use sidewalks when available, but there are stretches on grass and uneven terrain.

Beginners and experienced birders welcome—loaner binoculars will be available. Registration for this walk is limited to 20 people and you must register in advance.

This trip will be led by Nicole Netherton, Janet Davis, Paul DiFiore, and Leslie Menikoff. If you have any questions, contact Nicole Netherton at nicole@travisaudubon.org. Hope to see you there!
