Birdability Walk at Berry Springs Park

8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Greetings! This month we are going to one of my very favorite parks in the central Austin area. Berry Springs is one of the oldest grist mills in the state, built in1846. The large pecan groves and the creek and the 4-acre lake make for some of the greatest birding in the Austin area. Please join us on this very accessible and birdy walk. Govalle Metropolitan Park is at 5200 Bolm Road. The last time I was at this location, I saw belted kingfisher and osprey!

See Google Maps for directions. Unfortunately, it is not on the Capital Metro route. We will meet at 8 a.m. Please be prompt.

Bring water, a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Bring binoculars if you have them. I will bring extra binoculars for those of you who need them.

See you there! I am very excited you are coming. I know you will enjoy it. If you run into any problem, call or text me at: 512-461-6920. Thanks!
