Birdathon: Flock Party Friday at Circle Acres

8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Join us for a free Friday morning bird walk during Birdathon! This event is part of the Texas City Nature Challenge.

Circle Acres Nature Preserve, owned and managed by Ecology Action, is located on roughly 10 acres of the Montopolis neighborhood in southeast Austin. Circle Acres is not just a nature preserve, but also a field lab for ecological research, community space for environmental education, and headquarters for a larger restoration project that includes the adjacent Roy G. Guerrero Colorado River Metro Park. Their restoration projects accelerate ecosystem recovery through biodiversity enhancement, water quality improvements, and regenerative land stewardship.
