Join Liz Kurpiers, Master Birder class and Park Ranger for the City of Austin, and TAS Development Manager, Cheyenne Moore, for a casual exploration of the birdlife near Emma Long Metropolitan Park and the Green Shores neighborhood. We’ll focus mainly on the hiking trails along Oak Shores Drive, looking for migrants and enjoying the morning. When we’ve wrapped up our birding, come along for lunch at Austin’s legendary lakeside restaurant, Ski Shores. For all levels, beginning birders encouraged to attend!

Payment for Birdathon events is due at registration. If you change your mind about attending an event, you may be able to transfer your registration to another Birdathon 2024 event. Event registration payments are considered donations and are non-refundable. We sincerely appreciate your generous support! Events occur rain or shine.
