Blair Woods Restoration Day

9 AM – 12 PM

Help us to restore Blair Woods, the Travis Audubon sanctuary located in east Austin. Outdoor ‘class room’ for the Blair Woods After School Program (in partnership with West Cave), serving elementary students from Sims and Ortega. And Travis Audubon Family Nature Days, serving some of the most “nature deficient” neighborhoods in Travis County.

Parking at Blair is limited – best parking in the back lot of the adjacent Heritage Pointe Senior Living Apts at 1950 Webberville Road. Just come through the gate, drive to the back and walk through the gate. Do not park in a numbered spot!

This day’s work will involve getting the trails ready for the After School and Family nature programs. We will work on trails, mainly mulching.

Registration is required. Sign up with Blair Steward Chris Murray at christophermurra@hotmail.com. If you have any questions feel free to contact CAMN member Mark Wilson at kuykenwil@gmail.com or 512-497-0744.
