Blair Woods Restoration Day

Blair Woods, Travis Audubon’s 10-acre urban sanctuary, needs your help! Our restoration efforts make a tremendous difference in creating a biodiverse woodland, prairie and riparian corridor. On this restoration day, volunteers are needed to remove non-native invasive plants and maintain trails. It’ll be hard work, but lots of fun!

Our trails and native plants are essential for educating students and visitors about Central Texas wildlife and conservation. Join us to maintain trails, and keep Blair Woods wild and beautiful!

  • All equipment and training provided.
  • Wear closed-toed shoes and clothing to protect from insects and the elements. Hats, sunblock, and bug spray are your friends!
  • Please bring a water bottle to keep hydrated while volunteering.
