Learn to capture artistic photos of birds through this hands-on class. Some of the skills covered include camera settings, composition, lighting, anticipating bird behavior, focal point, and backgrounds. This class is appropriate for all birding skill levels. Students should have some knowledge of their camera. Recommended to have a 300 mm lens or greater.
Registration is required for this class and is limited to 8 participants. The cost per person is $75 for members and $90 for non-members. Registrants will receive an email with additional details prior to event. All participants will be expected to comply with Travis Audubon’s COVID-19 In-Person Events Policy.
About the instructor: Christine Snitkin is a local nature photographer who leads birding groups in the area. She is a Master Birder with Travis Audubon, and her work has been published in the Audubon Magazine. Christine lives in Lago Vista where she manages her online gallery and volunteers as a photographer for her community.
