Class: Spring Warblers

Have you ever seen a glimpse of the underside of a warbler and not known what to think? These beautiful songbirds can be very challenging to identify. They appear in a variety of plumages and can be so active that it is hard to get a good look. Learn to quickly identify warblers from various viewpoints by piecing together diagnostic features.

When you leave this class you should be able to tell the difference between the most common warblers in Texas. The class will use photos and videos to illustrate multiple viewing angles. Then we will practice our skills in the field. The class is being taught again by Doug Booher and Amy Bishop.

There will be three virtual evening classes via Zoom on April 18, April 25, and May 2 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Two local field trips will be held on April 27 and May 4.

The tuition for the class is $70 for members and $100 for non-members. Class size is limited to 12.
