Commons Ford Bird Walk

7:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Note: Online Registration is Required. Limited to 15 participants.
Join Joe Hood for a bird walk at the restored prairie at Commons Ford Park. Joe is passionate about sharing his birding knowledge and it is always a pleasure to bird with him. We will be looking for our wintering birds and the prairie is a great place to find sparrows, wrens and raptors, as well as our year round residents.

If you would like to learn more about the prairie restoration project at Commons Ford Ranch Park, please visit http://travisaudubon.org/conservation/commons-ford. See a pictorial display at www.flickr.com/photos/commonsfordpro.
The field trip is free but please consider a charitable donation in support of the ongoing restoration efforts. For more information or to be added to the waitlist if the trip is full, contact Deb Wallace at apeld@austin.rr.com. Further details will be provided to participants closer to the field trip date.
