Commons Ford Bird Walk

7:30 AM – 10:30 AM

Join Chris Gunter for a walk at Commons Ford Ranch Park. With 274 bird species having been identified at the park, Commons Ford is one of the best birding locations in Central Texas. The park contains diverse habitats, including riparian, oak/juniper woodland, and the centerpiece, a restored forty-acre prairie. We will be looking for year-round residents and migrants. Registration is required and limited to 15 participants. For more information, contact Chris Gunter at chris@gbafirm.com or 512-217-2475.

The field trip is free, but please consider a donation to Travis Audubon to support our ongoing conservation work at Commons Ford as well as at our sanctuaries.
