FIELD TRIP: Super Tuesday at Tejas Camp, led by Ray and Ginny Steelman

7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Birding in winter is always productive at Tejas Camp Park, located at the confluence of the North San Gabriel River and Lake Georgetown. In addition to our regular year-round birds, the habitat here is favored by many of our over-wintering bird species such as sparrows, towhees, woodpeckers and raptors. Expect to walk for several miles over varied terrain. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring snacks and water. Lunch at an area restaurant is an option. No registration required.

Directions: Tejas Camp is located at 4560 County Road 258, Liberty Hill, TX 78642. The GPS coordinates are 30.695835, -97.827982. Use Google Map to find the best route from your location. See Google Map at: https://goo.gl/maps/ecP2m9yCWLR2
