Hornsby Bend After Rush Hour

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Join Terry Banks after rush hour has died down for birding at Hornsby Bend. We will meet near the entrance and bird a little around the CER (Center for Environmental Research) and then we will head to the ponds. We will bird for approximately 2 hours and then meet for lunch at Donn’s BBQ (a good place for tacos and other lunch type fare close to Hornsby).

Our target birds will be overwintering waterfowl and whatever else we can find at this excellent birding hotspot. Purple Martins should have arrived by this time, so we can enjoy these gregarious birds.

Hope to see you there! Limit 12 people – registration required. For questions email Terry at 55bluebirds@att.net.
