Introduction to Nature Photography

8:15 AM – 3:00 PM

This introduction to nature photography taught by Theresa Bayoud will help you understand what’s going in your camera and how to take better photographs.  Although the emphasis is on nature photography, the knowledge gained will help you in any photographic setting.

The class will explain the basics of exposure – aperture, shutter speed and ISO and how they interact with each other to create the photo you want. Hints on taking better wildlife photographs and photographs in general will be discussed.

We will have time to practice indoors and outdoors so bring whatever camera you have.  Bring your camera manual.  If you don’t have it, try to download it from web.

Bring a hat or something to shade your eyes when we are outside. Bring lunch, water, and snacks. Class will be held in an East Austin location.

Fee: $35 members, $50 non-members
