Super Tuesday! In the Granger Lake area with Ray and Ginny Steelman

7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Note: Online Registration is Required.

We will explore a variety of habitats in the Granger Lake area including agricultural fields, woodland parks, and the lake itself. Winter birding in this location can feature Mountain Plover, Longspurs, Burrowing Owl, numerous sparrow species, Sprague’s Pipit, Horned Lark, and waterfowl. We will meet-up and carpool from an area north of Austin. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring snacks and drinks. The trip is limited to 10 participants in addition to the leaders. Carpooling will be necessary as we will need to use no more than 3 vehicles to caravan.
