Join Lori and Celeste to bird this beautiful section of the Brushy Creek Regional Trail, between Brushy Creek Lake Park and Champion Park.
This riparian corridor includes a large pond, wooded areas, and small meadows along its length. We typically have a nice variety of birds on this trail, including Eastern bluebirds, woodpeckers, shorebirds, and hawks, as well as the usual songbirds.
Trail is 1.25 miles on paved sidewalk, with very small sections of level granite gravel. Pace and difficulty is easy, but wear comfortable walking shoes. Bathrooms are available at both ends of the trail, not in between. ADA accessible, but with fairly long ascent onto the dam.
Meet at Champion Park in front of the restrooms (clearly visible from parking lot). Google map link below.
