Winter Birds of Austin

As part of Yarborough’s Winter Fest Open House from 10 – 4 p.m.which features crafts, music, food, and lectures, Travis Audubon will be there to talk about our winter visitors.

Just like human snowbirds, some northern birds come to spend the winter in the Austin area where they enjoy our usually mild climate. Come learn about wintering ducks, kinglets and warblers, and what you can do to ensure they have a safe winter holiday season.
