Short bird walk through Baker Sanctuary (11854-, 12670 Lime Creek Rd, Leander, TX 78641)
Baker Sanctuary is having an Nature Day (open house) at 9am on May 18th allowing the public to come enjoy the rare glimpse of the beautiful wildlife sanctuary. The YBC has the chance to enjoy it an hour early, so come take a tour with Felicia Sawyers around the beautiful wildlife sanctuary to catch a glimpse of the Golden-cheeked Warbler, Painted Bunting, and Baltimore Oriole.
If you plan to stay for the Nature Day event after the bird walk, please bring your lunch! Picnicking is welcomed! Trail snacks, water and Gatorade will be available. Please bring your own water bottle that can be refilled on site.

Birders are advised to wear good shoes, water, bug spray, binoculars, and anything else you may need for the one hour hike.
