8:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Please join Jane Tillman on a guided bird walk through the Yett Creek Neighborhood Park, where we can spot some interesting birds such as the Purple Finch, Long-billed Thrasher, and the Eastern Towhee. The park has a narrow trail which is rocky at first and then opens up into a wide open space with good sight lines. There is no fee to enter into the park and parking can be found in the cul-de-sac at the end of West Cow Path. We will meet in the cul-de-sac. Please note there are no restrooms or water fountains.
Directions to the park: Exit Duval off of Hwy 183 and go north. Almost immediately, turn left onto West Cow Path and follow it until it ends. We will meet in the cul-de-sac.
If you have any questions or difficulty finding the park please call or text Felicia Sawyers at 918.314.2495
Birders are advised to wear good shoes, water, bug spray, binoculars, and anything else you may need for a two hour hike.
