Travis Audubon is on a mission to inspire conservation through birding!
We are committed to ensuring that everyone can experience the joy of birds, regardless of their circumstances. Thanks to generous donors and community supporters, annual Travis Audubon membership scholarships are available for both individuals and families.
We ask that all applicants comply with the following guidelines:
- Be a Central Texas resident
- Request this need-based scholarship due to financial necessity
- Be willing to dedicate a minimum of 10 volunteer hours to support Travis Audubon
Member scholarships will be for one year. Applicants are asked to re-apply as needed for future years
Your Travis Audubon membership entitles you to these exclusive benefits:

- Discounts on tuition for our popular educational classes and workshops
- Access to free-to-members field trips, discounted specialty field trips, and members-only field trips starting January 1, 2025
Each new membership receives a copy of Birds of the Austin, Texas, Region: A seasonal distribution checklist, 50th Anniversary Edition.
