Baker Sanctuary is now open and visitors will see a few changes over the next several months. The Baker Cabin (pictured above) and stone bunkhouse (pictured below) are both undergoing renovation to restore the structures to a reasonable semblance of what they looked like in their prime. Ronny Senkel, who knew Chell Baker when he was a boy, is performing the carpentry work on both of the structures, and stonemason Nick Page will be undertaking a complete demolition and rebuild of the old bunkhouse. In addition to the renovation work, Solluna Builders will be constructing a new steward’s residence (pictured below) on the north side of Lime Creek Road near the cabin. Come out and see what’s new, but please use caution around the construction sites!
