The goals of the Purple Martin Committee are two-fold: developing, educating and supporting Purple Martin landlords or landlord teams to provide the best situations for nesting success in this species that is totally dependent on human-provided housing; and monitoring and highlighting the migratory Purple Martin roost in the Austin metroplex area.
