Apply now to become a Master Birder!

Advance your birding skills and become a community ambassador!

Through a series of in-depth classes and field trips, Travis Audubon’s Master Birder Program educates participants about birds and their habitats while providing training and opportunities to share that knowledge in the community.

Topics include bird anatomy and behavior, species distribution, native habitat and vegetation, and local conservation issues. Classes will be led by experts such as UT professor Peter English and Biologists Bill Reiner and Chuck Sexton.

Upon course completion, Master Birder graduates take their knowledge out into the community to educate youth and adults and support important conservation work.
