Happy Earth Day from Radha Madhav Dham

By: Michael D. Jewell, Travis Audubon Member

Travis Audubon volunteers participated in Earth Day at Radha Madhav Dham on Aprill 22. Using strips of old newspapers and small empty juice cans, Nancy Townsend, Kat Ross, Janel Nye and myself helped our small visitors roll the newspapers to create Seed Starting Pots filled with potting soil and a pinch of Black-eyed Susan seeds. It was a wonderful family activity, a definite hands-on project with lots of dirty hands and smiles. We estimate 60 Starting Pots were made.
