Ruffled Feathers Book Club

By Jeanette Larson, Travis Audubon Master Birder

In January 2017, Travis Audubon began a bird book club, Ruffled Feathers. The group meets every other month to discuss a book and share ideas. Over time, people have asked for a list of the books read, as this is a great resource for anyone interested in learning more about birds  and the natural world. Following is a list of the books read from 2017-2019. More will be added each year and summary reviews for some of these, and other bird books, will be included in the Signal Smoke Blog. Information about meetings and the selected books is available here. Due to Shelter-in-Place measures, the May meeting was held virtually. The next meeting is scheduled for July 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Anyone interested in joining the group can contact Ellen Cox at ellenlouisecox@gmail.com for more information.
