Join us in celebrating World Migratory Bird Day at the premier birding location in Travis County, Hornsby Bend! Whether you’re a seasoned birder, a beginner, or looking for a family-friendly outing, this day offers something for everyone—and is free to all. Come connect with fellow birding enthusiasts, enjoy some amazing bird-watching opportunities, and learn about the fascinating migratory birds passing through our region.

Morning Bird Survey: 7 AM – 11:30 AM

Beginners’ Bird Walk: 9 AM – 10:30 AM

Parking and Directions

When you arrive at Hornsby Bend, be prepared to show your ID at the gate. The event will take place at the Center Environmental Research, the building to the right as you pass through the gate. Plenty of free parking is available.
