Chiapas Birding & Cultural Adventure
Chiapas, the southernmost state in Mexico, is also one of the last wilderness areas of Mexico and a birding hotspot with 733 recorded species. In addition to its beautiful natural landscape, the state is a historical Mayan archaeological site. The indigenous culture is also rich. This “Chiapas Birding & Cultural Adventure” is a 10-day, 9-night tour and is all inclusive, including hotels, meals, guides, admission to parks, transportation while on the tour- everything except personal items and alcohol. An archaeological expert will also be with you in Palenque. The trip concludes with 3 days in the highlands – San Cristobal (one of the most famous Spanish Colonial cities) as well as the surrounding indigenous villages.

The tour sells for $3050 per person, double occupancy and will depart on your schedule. Several travis Travis Audubon members have toured Chiapas with Brock Huffman and have enjoyed it thoroughly. Dr. Chuck and Mary Kay Sexton visited Chiapas last year with Brock Huffman! Read his review here.
