Prizes for Fundraisers
If you raise $100 from your fundraiser, you’ll receive a free Bird of the Year t-shirt featuring fantastic artwork of the Carolina Wren.
To receive a free Bird of the Year shirt, you must raise $100 from your personal fundraiser. What about fundraising teams? Members of a fundraising team are eligible to receive the shirt as long as their individual fundraiser meets the $100 minimum. Ask anyone supporting your fundraiser to select your name under the Fundraiser field when making their donation so you receive credit for the gift.
Fundraising FAQs
Are donations tax-deductible? Yes! Travis Audubon is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
What if I can’t reach my $100 goal? Every dollar you raise makes a difference. We set the $100 goal as an aspirational target, but any amount you raise supports critical conservation work.
Can I fundraise as part of a team? Absolutely! Team fundraising can be a great way to engage friends, family, or coworkers in friendly competition while supporting conservation together.
How will my fundraising dollars be used? Your support funds Travis Audubon’s three core programs: environmental education, habitat protection and management, and conservation advocacy. Eighty cents of every dollar goes directly to programming.
What if people have questions about making donations online? Direct them to contact Travis Audubon’s Development Manager, Lisa Ramie, at lisa@travisaudubon.org, or refer to the instructions on your fundraising page.
