Young Birders Club: Barkley Meadows Park

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

If your child is interested in learning more about birds and bird conservation, we would like them to join us! We recommend ages 8 and older who can demonstrate appropriate birding etiquette. It is important for Young Birders to have the ability to walk quietly and be respectful on the trails without running or disturbing other members. A parent or guardian must accompany their child(ren) at all Travis Audubon Young Birders Club events.

Join Louise Ridlon and Paul DiFiore on a bird walk around Barkley Meadows Park, where you’re likely to see waterfowl this time of year. Trails are paved and restrooms are available.

This event is free but registration is required. We will be following Travis Audubon’s COVID-19 Policy, including the requirement for all attendees (except those under 2 years of age) to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status in Stage 4 or greater. This event is free but registration is limited to 20 people, so register your family today!
