Every Birdathon, we look forward to hosting our annual Greg Lasley Photography Contest, named after our late friend and legendary wildlife photographer, Greg Lasley. We received a record number of photos this year—185 entries—but our esteemed judges were up to the task. David Topkins, co-founder of Custom4Good.com, and Paige Bonugli, Communications & Marketing Specialist at Travis Audubon, assessed each photo based on the following criteria:
Technical: Focus, Exposure, Lighting, Print Quality
Subject: Creative Use of Subject, Composition, Impact, Uniqueness
We’re grateful to all who participated in this year’s contest. Entry fees from the competition raised nearly $1,000 for Travis Audubon.
The judges’ 24 favorite photos are posted in an online gallery, displayed in no particular order. But without further ado, here are our winners!
