Members of the inaugural Travis Audubon Master Birder Class enjoyed their first field trip to Chaetura Canyon! This small jewel of a preserve is the first of three Travis Audubon preserves the class will visit this fall. Stewards Georgean and Paul Kyle hosted breakfast on the beautiful deck, talked about conservation efforts for Chimney Swifts and other wildlife of the preserve, and led the group on a hike among the Chimney Swift towers and into the canyon.
