Travis Audubon is excited to announce that Dawson Phillips will be joining us as our new Communications & Marketing Specialist!

As a born-and-raised Austinite, Dawson has a deep appreciation for Central Texas and the communities that call it home. He grew up birding with his parents around Austin, which sparked an early passion for the outdoors and environmental stewardship. After earning a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Visual Art from Brown University, Dawson is excited to be back at home, giving back to the community that nurtured his love of birds and conservation.

In addition to being a birder, Dawson is also a musician, visual artist, and devoted Joni Mitchell fan. Outside of work, you can find him exploring the Greenbelt, checking out art at the Blanton, or on a quest to find the best oat milk latte in town.
