Travis Audubon is excited to announce that Ronnie Renick will be joining the team as our new Administrative Specialist!

Ronnie grew up in Corpus Christi and Houston and this instilled in her a deep love and appreciation of Gulf Coast ecology.  She began birding in the Houston area in 2011 and marveled at seeing a multitude of bird species thriving in very urban and developed environments.  She moved to Austin in 2017 and soon after completed training to become a certified Texas Master Naturalist with the Capital Area chapter.  She is excited to begin this journey with Travis Audubon to help bring about their vision of inspiring conservation through birding.

Ronnie is also an avid reader, quilter, and hiker.  You can find her out hiking on the Greenbelt, volunteering with various conservation groups around Austin, or browsing the shelves at local bookstores. You can contact Ronnie at ronnie@travisaudubon.org.
